The center of the 24-inch wide block features medium-stiffness bristles while the border consists of fine bristles. We make the bristles using a synthetic material. The clear-coated hardwood block has a slotted, bolt-through connection. We finish off this tool with a 1-1/8-inch diameter, 60-inch long wooden handle. Powder-coated steel braces add strength to the handle connection.
